Onfido, the global identity verification provider, today announced it has launched an international partner program to expand the reach of its identity verification service and foster new identity verification use cases.
Companies partnering with Onfido to provide AI-powered ID verification services as part of their product portfolios include leading cyber security and Identity Access Management (IAM) firms, ForgeRock, IDEMIA and iovation. In addition, Visa is now offering Onfido in its marketplace. Onfido’s end-to-end IDV service helps keep fraudsters off its customers’ platforms by verifying new users at the point of sign-up with a selfie and a photo of their identity document (ID).
The Onfido Partner Program provides the tools, technical guidance and support required to integrate Onfido’s award-winning identity verification service into existing fraud prevention, UX and compliance tool kits, enabling enterprises to offer a more comprehensive digital identity management, KYC/AML and/or fraud solution.
“Empowering the channel is an important strategic move that will enable us to accelerate our expansion into the USA, South-East Asia and Europe while exploring new product innovation in areas such as account takeover and authentication,” said Ed Ackerman, Director of Alliances and Partnerships at Onfido. “With some of the biggest enterprise names already signed up to our program, we’re now selecting additional applications from companies to join and share in exciting new revenue-generating opportunities.”
The program consists of four partner channels: technology and commercial resellers, system integrators and a referral program. Each program provides partners the ability to offer Onfido services direct to their customers, either by embedding Onfido into their own cloud/SaaS offering or by co-selling as a combined solution stack. Partners benefit from commercial incentives and increased customer acquisition and retention through joint-marketing programs.
“We are thrilled to join forces with Onfido in order to meet the requirements and needs of our financial institution customers in remote ID Proofing,” said Pierre Barrial, CEO Secure Enterprise Transactions at IDEMIA. “Onfido is a perfect complement to the IDEMIA suite of solutions available to the financial market globally. It contributes to strengthening our position as the partner of choice of financial institutions for building security and trust in their digital transformation.”
“Regardless of industry, our customers recognize that the start of a secure and optimized customer journey begins with a strong validated identity,” said Ben Goodman, Senior Vice President, Global Business and Corporate Development at ForgeRock. “Onfido’s speed of innovation and excellent track record in offering enterprises a robust identity verification and proofing solution made them a natural partner for us. We’re excited to be working together.”
“Our partnership with Onfido enables our customers to securely run their global digital businesses,” said Ed Wu, Vice President, Global Partnerships at iovation, a TransUnion company. “Together, we deliver four core benefits to our clients: expanding the reach of our joint offerings, minimizing friction, identifying fraud and upholding privacy. Onfido and iovation’s commitment to our clients is second to none, and we look forward to an exciting future together.”
“As bad actors are becoming increasingly sophisticated, companies need more intelligent fraud solutions to stay one step ahead,” said Lydia Varmazis, Vice President of Product at Checkr. “We’re excited to partner with Onfido to integrate its industry-leading, identity verification solution into Checkr’s hiring platform and set the new standard for trust and safety together.”
Other companies that have joined Onfido’s partner program include: Agora Innovation, AllClearID, AmiqusID, Appway, Castlight Financial, Evernym, E-First Consulting, FiveDegrees, InvestGlass, Mambu, PassFort, Qwil Messenger, Sepa-Cyber, Shieldpay, Signicat, Thesaur.io, Thirdfort, ThoughtMachine, TribePad and TXpay.
