MatchMove and AsiaTop Loyalty launch prepaid card in Singapore

MatchMove, one of the world’s fastest-growing and leading fintech companies, today announced that it has partnered with AsiaTop Loyalty, a Singapore-based fintech company that provides a groundbreaking technology platform to revolutionize the loyalty rewards industry that is projected at US$7.3 billion by end 2022[1].

MatchMove’s proprietary Banking Wallet OSTM, a core engine processing payments and spend analytics, is coupled with AsiaTop’s innovative loyalty rewards engine, to empower merchants and partners to run highly effective loyalty rewards programs.

Through AsiaTop’s platform, Merchants can now issue branded virtual or physical prepaid cards to their consumers to join their customized loyalty rewards program on the cloud. The cards sport a Mastercard chip or emblem and are accepted by the world’s major card networks. This is the first of its kind in Singapore.

Merchants who already have credit card processing facilities do not have to spend money on integration with legacy systems. Through AsiaTop’s platform, a merchant can, within hours rather than weeks, start running their own app-based loyalty reward programs on the cloud, with high levels of customization and automation, such as rewarding more points at specific times of the day.

Consumers will trust the loyalty reward program more, as the awarded points are displayed instantly on the app, and can be converted back to cash on a Mastercard prepaid card for subsequent spending at the merchant. Happier consumers will result in return visits and more revenue for the merchant.
