NYMEX will use BT Radianz's shared market infrastructure to facilitate electronic trading. NYMEX members can now access both market data and trading services through BT Radianz.

The agreement will allow NYMEX customers and member firms to send electronic trade instructions directly to its trading floor and to the NYMEX ClearPort electronic trading system and to receive electronic trade confirmations. Customers and member firms can also access market data from NYMEX.

NYMEX Chief Information Officer Samuel Gaer, said: "As markets continue to automate, our members increasingly require faster routing of orders directly from their trading applications to our open outcry trading floor and electronic venues. BT Radianz has built a reputation for facilitating access to exchanges through efficient and reliable connectivity. Many of our members already have a BT Radianz connection, so accessing NYMEX through Radianz will be a simple process for them."

Chris Church, EVP Strategic Client Development at BT Radianz, said: "BT Radianz is pleased to have NYMEX on the BT Radianz Platform as we expand further into the futures industry. Our customers across the globe are demanding lower latency and direct access to more exchanges.
