IRESS, an ASX-listed, global provider of technology solutions for the financial services industry, has offices in Singapore and has been working with clients in the Asia region since 2010.

Hong Leong has adopted IRESS ViewPoint as its online, market data and multi-exchange equities trading solution for over 20,000 retail clients. ViewPoint connects seamlessly with IRESS Pro - used by Hong Leong’s in-house broking team - combining real-time global equities trading, analysis tools and charting. Both ViewPoint and IRESS Pro are underpinned by the IRESS Order Management System (IOS) - a comprehensive and flexible order and risk management backend, providing multi-asset, multi-market order routing, execution management and post-trade processing across the SGX, ASX, HKex and US markets.

The IRESS solution further complements Hong Leong’s offering to clients, giving them a clear competitive advantage across desktop, browser and mobile channels. These connected capabilities, integrating to a central order management system and using market data supplied by IRESS, deliver Hong Leong and its clients with an accurate and comprehensive picture of what’s happening in the global markets, along with the ability to trade on the go.

Mr Jason Hoang, Managing Director, IRESS Asia, said: “We’re delighted to partner with Hong Leong to enhance the breadth and depth of broking services they can offer their clients. This partnership reflects our commitment to working closely with clients such as Hong Leong across Asia, to ensure our global trading and market data solutions meet their specific needs both now and in the future.”

Mr KC Kwek, Stockbroking Chief Operating Officer, HLIB, said: “We are pleased to partner with IRESS, who combine international expertise with deep local market knowledge. The breadth of functionality, ability to scale and enhanced connectivity of the integrated IRESS solution puts us in a strong position to maximise efficiency and reduce costs as we grow the services we deliver to clients across the region.”
