The financial technology company Certua has today announced the launch of its Enterprise Insurance platform, allowing companies to access their full service platform, via API.
Certua’s offering is designed to allow companies looking to distribute innovative new insurance products to get to market quickly and to enable insurers and re-insurers to access new digital markets by removing technological barriers to entry, by leveraging Certua’s Financial Services platform.
Sherpa, an InsurTech company focused on personal risk management, is the first distribution partner to leverage Certua’s Enterprise Insurance platform, in a successful collaboration with established re-insurer Gen Re and manufacturer Scottish Friendly.
Certua Enterprise Insurance Platform supports the creation and distribution of modern, dynamic and adaptable insurance products. It provides rates, recommendations, underwriting and claims rule-sets, along with compliant documentation and digital payment methods, as part of an end-to-end solution, which links clients, distributors and underwriters effectively and efficiently.
This ability to configure and vend products via Enterprise API enables distribution partners to integrate innovative insurance propositions seamlessly into their own existing user journey, in a way that clients appreciate.
Chris Kaye, CEO at Sherpa, said: “Certua has been an integral partner and an essential element in how we have managed to build a genuinely customer and data-driven solution for customers.
“We have been delighted to work with Certua in bringing our vision for Sherpa and everything it can do for people to life. Their commitment and professionalism have been pivotal in delivering this fundamental change in how insurance works for people”
Tom Williams, CEO at Certua said: “Our aim is to support innovative businesses like Sherpa get to market quickly by leveraging our technical infrastructure, allowing manufacturers to access new markets, and end-customers to receive modern propositions, fundamentally in markets that are currently underserved.
“We wish Sherpa the best of luck at this exciting time in their development and look forward to working with them and continuing to innovate as a long-term partner within the SME space.”
