Basware (Nasdaq: BAS1V), the global leader in networked source-to-pay solutions, e-invoicing and innovative financing services, offers a global e-Invoice sending service to enable organisations to send 100% invoices electronically to all their customers – businesses, public sector clients and consumers.

“Basware has long been the global leader in networked e-invoicing solutions supporting more than 70 invoice data formats and providing multiple delivery channels via single access point to business, government and consumer invoicing,” says Mikko Pilkama, Senior Vice President, Products for Basware.

“We have worked closely with global and local partners to help our customers stay compliant with changing regulations. As an example, Singapore is adopting the PEPPOL e -invoicing standard and we are actively working to bring e-invoicing to this market as a certified PEPPOL access point and PEPPOL expert,” continues Pilkama.

The public sector is often the driving force for e-invoicing adoption. Several EU countries have adopted e-invoicing for B2G transactions and some countries take the next step and extend mandatory e-invoicing to B2B transactions. A recent example is Italy where B2B e-invoicing will be mandatory starting from January 2019.

“To meet multinational requirements companies will need multiple ways of delivering e-invoices and the ability to support any invoice format. Building local functionalities and establishing new IT projects in each county can be complex and expensive,” said Henna Karhunen, Senior Product Manager for Basware. “Having to meet various legal requirements simply adds to that burden. But by being a single contact point and partner for our customers we can help them send e-invoices to all their customers, automate their processes and remain compliant as they grow.”

For organizations with consumers and small businesses as their customers Basware offers Invoice to Cash service in collaboration with AcceptEasy, the cloud-based online, mobile and social payments service provider, that allows for quicker and easier ways to pay e-invoices. With Invoice to Cash, Basware customers can accelerate their cashflow and gain visibility over the payments.
