Looking to enhance its members’ banking experience whether it’s BillPay, P2P, or Amazon Echo, Seasons Federal Credit Union ($157 million; 19,000 members; Middletown, CT) has signed with online and mobile banking provider Bankjoy.
Seasons will launch its new solutions to members September 2019.
According to Seasons CIO William Weingartner, the partnership with Bankjoy will allow the credit union to provide members the same products/services the big banks offer - such as the standards like BillPay and P2P or more progressive tech like Bankjoy’s “Joy” product, which allows members to bank through devices such Amazon Echo and Google Home.
Bankjoy will provide a complete end-to-end digital solution to Seasons’ members that includes: Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, Bill Pay, P2P, A2A, RDC, eStatements and eNotices, Loan Application, Online Account Opening, and Voice.
Since Seasons is converting to Corelation’s KeyStone core next year, Bankjoy works extremely closely with Corelation developers to create a real-time, API-based solution. The mobile tech provider is experienced in working with the core’s CUSO SwitchThink, as well, to deliver a seamless transition for Seasons and its members. Bankjoy’s largest concentration of live credit unions runs on Corelation’s KeyStone core.
“For us, Bankjoy checks all of the boxes,” Weingartner says. “They are on the forefront of technology, they are a fresh and hungry tech firm, they have a great team of dedicated employees, they are open to hearing our ideas and having a discussion surrounded the potential of implementing them into their system.”
The primary goal of the Seasons/Bankjoy partnership is to utilize tech provider’s technical skillset so the credit union’s membership can have the best banking experience possible. That experience includes offering seamless banking to its members through in-branch, online, and mobile channels.
“We are excited about this new partnership and look forward to growing alongside Bankjoy,” he says.
“We are proud to integrate with Keystone to provide a tightly integrated digital solution,” states Bankjoy CEO Michael Duncan. “We hope Seasons Federal Credit Union is a Bankjoy showplace for many years to come.”
