In order to expand its reach as a single-branch institution, California-based Fresno First Bank has selected Computer Services, Inc. (CSI) (OTCQX: CSVI), a provider of end-to-end financial technology solutions, as its new core provider, adding to their use of CSI’s managed services.
With its conversion to CSI’s NuPoint® core processing solution, Fresno First aims to offer a more consistent banking experience for its customers across California, regardless of their distance from the bank’s home branch. The bank plans to leverage a wide range of CSI’s fintech services, including remote deposit capture, payments and CSI CRM. Additionally, Fresno First Bank executives specifically pointed to CSI’s collaborative, high-touch approach to working with their customers as a key selling point in their decision, while also citing NuPoint’s innovative technology and flexibility as key benefits for the bank and its customers.
“Our goal with the implementation of a new core platform is to ensure that our customers are experiencing the same high levels of service whether they are 3 miles or 3,000 miles from our branch,” said Steve Miller, president and CEO of Fresno First Bank. “We were already working with CSI for our internal IT systems management, so we knew they could provide the advanced level of technology necessary to reach these goals and provide our customers with the support and functionality they need both today and well into the future.”
CSI’s NuPoint is a cloud-based core banking system that enhances branch performance, employee productivity and customer profitability. By leveraging CSI’s secure infrastructure and integration capabilities, Fresno First will have the ability to not only deploy more relevant customer-facing banking solutions, but also move toward creating further opportunities for the bank to expand its footprint as a result of new efficiencies and greater functionality.
“At CSI, we work diligently to provide integrated solutions that offer a seamless, truly relevant customer experience that our banks can utilize to its highest potential as they seek to grow their businesses and compete with service providers across all industries,” said Steve Powless, CSI’s chairman and CEO. “We are thrilled to expand our relationship with Fresno First Bank and look forward to helping them achieve their on-going business goals as a trusted fintech partner.”
