The purchase of the St. Louis, Missouri-based operations brings complementary new products to the Datacard Group portfolio, significantly enhancing its ability to pursue growth opportunities in mobile telecom, loyalty, gift card, direct mail, commercial printing, and print and package finishing. Terms of the purchase were not disclosed.

"Our customers increasingly require more dynamic solution offerings and services for their high speed mailing and fulfillment operations," said Jeff Hattara, Datacard Group president and CEO. "Designed to protect customers' investment, they can be easily configured to efficiently handle jobs requiring a wide variety of form and carrier styles. They offer multiple options for folding forms and carriers and affixing cards and other objects to them."

"Customers acknowledge that both Datacard Group and Ga-Vehren are known for their quality and innovation," said Hattara. "We will rely on these shared competencies as we continue to serve the established base of Ga-Vehren customers and set our sights on introducing Ga-Vehren solutions to a global market."
