Leading global financial services company Swiss Re Group, has selected Ci3's flagship product SWORD for delivery of a complete operational risk management system for its worldwide operation.

SWORD will provide Swiss Re Group with computer-based tools to measure, monitor and manage the operational risks taken across its entire organisation in the normal running of its business. This project is a key plank in SwissRe Group's ongoing initiatives to be at the forefront of risk management in the insurance industry.

"Swiss Re is widely acknowledged to be a leader in risk management, so we are delighted that it has chosen SWORD," commented Seamus O'Farrell, Director of Ci3. "Swiss Re undertook very extensive and detailed analysis of the operational risk systems market, so the decision to award this contract clearly identifies SWORD as the leading operational risk management solution for the global financial services industry," he said. "We are particularly pleased to announce this deal following our recent MBO from Comit Gruppe"

"Swiss Re maintains competitive advantage through identifying innovative technology from trusted partners, and implementing it across its operations," commented Philip Lemmens, Head of Group Operational Risk Management at Swiss Re. "SWORD's ease of configuration for different divisions, coupled with its enterprise-wide reporting capability makes it the clear winner for a global operation like Swiss Re," he said.
