Through the agreement, Calyon will deploy Antepo's flagship solution for EIM and presence management, OPN System XT, and collaborate directly with Antepo to extend OPN System's functionality to support exact business needs.

"As a customer-centric organization, we welcome the opportunity to expand our relationships with global financial firms like Calyon to include advanced development and extended business functionality," said Maxime Seguineau, Chairman and CEO of Antepo. "OPN System XT was created with the needs and requirements with our financial users in mind, and we look forward to further enhancing its feature set with direct involvement from our customer."

OPN System XT's real-time collaborative capabilities make it the instant messaging solution of choice for the financial services enterprise, thanks to its ability to accelerate information sharing and increase business velocity, while ensuring the highest levels of industry compliance and security. Calyon will leverage OPN System's enterprise-grade instant messaging, Presence management, and persistent multi-party real-time discussion forum capabilities to achieve collective productivity in its Capital Markets and Investment Banking divisions. In addition, Calyon will work closely with Antepo's Product Development group as a Joint Development Partner to extend OPN System's features that are essential to the company's regular daily trading and operational activity.

"Calyon found OPN System to offer the most robust enterprise instant messaging infrastructure on the market to support their real-time enablement plans, and saw a unique opportunity to extend our core collaborative capabilities to increase transactional velocity," explained Maxime Seguineau. "OPN System's standards-based open architecture will enable Calyon to flexibly adapt the solution to support both front and back-office requirements."
