On 27 April, Deutsche Börse Group will host a coding contest in Frankfurt, organized by the Austrian IT service provider Catalysts.

It is part of a global contest where coders are competing against each other in over 40 locations around the world. Participants include young as well as professional engineers, students, and software enthusiasts who love to code. The highest ranked participants will be listed in Catalysts’s hall of fame and will have the opportunity to win prizes.

Deutsche Börse is one of the largest exchange organizations in the world, covering the full value chain in the financial services sector. Information technology is one of the main factors driving competitive advantage in its product portfolio. Catalysts has a strong reputation and experience in running coding contests in more than 40 international locations such as Cairo, Pretoria, Liverpool or New Orleans.

“We are looking forward to this exciting event which offers a platform for talented developers to showcase their skills and connect with the financial industry,” said Andreas Preuss, member of the Executive Board and CIO of Deutsche Börse Group.
