Statement from Angela Clark, Executive General Manager, Small Business

We apologise to our customers who experienced issues with our Albert merchant terminals this week.

We made a technical change early Monday morning which caused an issue with our payments terminals. We were able to get most of our customers back online, however a number customers experienced difficulty reconnecting their Albert device to our terminal management system.

Most of our Albert terminals are back up and running, but we know some customers are still experiencing difficulties reconnecting and we encourage you to contact our Merchant Support team so we can resolve this for you.

We understand the impact this has had, and for those customers who use an Albert terminal, we will not be charging Simple Merchant Plan or terminal rental fees for March.

We know you rely on our payment terminals and call centres to run your business and, again, sincerely apologise for the disruption caused.
