Opal Transfer, the London-based Fintech company, has launched a new money transfer service between Italy and the UK.
This is an extension of the existing product - money transfer service from the UK to Italy.
The new product has one of the lowest costs on the market. Transfers from Italy to the UK cost just €1 and the money will be delivered on the same day, making it one of the cheapest and quickest transfer services on the market. The price of a standard transfer from the UK to Italy - only 30p - is something a large proportion of the market does not offer.
Created due to growing demand, the Italy/UK service is another excellent use of Opal Transfer its innovative technology which enables customers to transfer funds between two countries in both directions. It is the first time a two way transfer service has been set up between two Western European countries.
Opal Transfer’s combination of a user-friendly app with a human face business model is unique on the market. The new Italy to UK money transfer service has an Italian customer service team available for people to speak to service alongside an Italian version of their website and advanced app soon to be launched.
The new money transfer service is part of wider plans for Opal Transfer to expand in new markets within the next 12 months.
