As part of the managed rollout of Open Banking, Yolt took part in a rigorous test period with RBS Group. Following the success of this trial, Yolt is now giving real customers with real accounts the opportunity to experience Open Banking for the first time. This will allow even more people to easily compare different financial products and track their spending across their accounts in one, smart app.

Yolt will continue to test further API connections as they become available and roll out Open Banking access to more users. The smart money app has been working closely with the RBS Group, along with the Open Banking Implementation Entity (OBIE), to enable customers to benefit from the innovative money management features that Yolt provides.

Leon Muis, COO, Yolt, says: "From the beginning, Yolt was built with the principles of Open Banking in mind. To start onboarding real users is incredibly exciting as we connect with more and more current account providers through the Open Banking APIs - and this number is only set to increase as the testing phase progresses.

“We’re really pleased about this collaboration with the RBS Group, as we’re thrilled to provide Yolt users with access to their current account details and transactions alongside their other accounts and cards. This perfectly illustrates the benefits of the Open Banking experience, which we feel so passionate about.”
