The new feature brings together crucial and often confusing market performance indicators, applying easy-to-understand human characteristics to make it simple and easy to understand stock market assets.

Invstr Signals provide an invaluable resource for investors looking to make the most of the burgeoning cryptocurrency market, with analysis of over 20 different cryptocurrencies included in the update covering performance, predictability, popularity and market capitalisation.

In addition, the latest Invstr update brings in a new weekly competition to excite and reward the savviest virtual investors on the platform, encouraging the creation and development of market portfolios via the app’s real-world trading capabilities.

There are up to five Invstr Signals providing insight on close to 2,000 instruments currently covered in the Invstr app, depending on the asset type:

• Performance - Rate of return. The average gain or loss of an investment held over 3 months.
• Predictability - Volatility. Highlights how much an instrument price moves or deviates from the average.
• Popularity - Volume. How actively an investment is bought and sold.
• Size - Market capitalisation. The total value placed by investors on an instrument.
• Generosity - Yield. The reward an investor gets back for holding the stock.

Kerim Derhalli, founder and CEO of Invstr, said: “When it comes to cryptocurrencies, people are asking the same two questions - what is it, and how can I get involved? By launching Invstr Signals, we’re providing budding investors with the tools to better understand the performance of not only crypto, but also thousands of additional instruments, too. Savvy investing comes from identifying the trends and performance of stocks, shares, currencies and indices. Invstr is all about making it easier to get involved in investment, and this update is yet another tool to help our users do exactly that.”

Notably, the app’s popular Investment Game enables cryptocurrency investing to be experienced using virtual currency, providing an entry point for would-be crypto investors to experiment in a risk-free environment.

The full list of cryptocurrencies included in the Invstr app are: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, BitCoin Cash, Ethereum Classic, Ripple, Monero, Zcash, Bitcoin Gold, NEM, Tether, EOS, DASH, Qtum, Omise Go, Neo, AdEx, Verge, Icon, Lisk, TenX, IOTA and DogeCoin.

Weekly competitions launch to encourage Invstr traders to excel

In the latest Invstr update a new weekly competition has been launched to help virtual investors take the plunge into the real world of investing.

Every Saturday, the 10 members who have made the most profit on their Invstr virtual portfolio will be rewarded with US dollar credits, which can be used to trade for real on the app’s integrated DriveWealth platform.

For the best investor of the week, $50 of credit will be deposited in their DriveWealth account, with $30 provided to 2nd place, $20 to 3rd, and $5 for the remaining places in the top 10.

Derhalli added: “Taking the first jump into real trading can be scary, but now we’re providing the best investors on our investment game the chance to dip their toe into the real markets. We’re passionate about educating the masses on the benefits of investing.”
