Meijer customers across the Midwest are in for a faster and more rewarding checkout experience when Chase Pay, the digital engagement wallet from JPMorgan Chase, rolls out in stores later this year.
Chase Pay will allow millions of Chase card customers to check out with their mobile phone when visiting their favorite local store.
With more than 235 stores throughout Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky and Wisconsin, Meijer is a leading retailer in the Midwest to accept Chase Pay at checkout.
Meijer customers will be able to choose to pay with a Chase Visa credit card and earn and use Chase Ultimate Rewards on eligible cards while still using their mPerks to save more on Meijer’s everyday low prices.
“Mobile phones can be an indispensable shopping tool for everyday grocery shopping, from browsing and list making, to checkout. Chase Pay can help customers save time and money and complete their shopping experience,” said Jennifer Roberts, head of digital products at Chase.
Chase Pay will be available in Meijer stores later this year.
