In 2017 Polish Payment Standard Ltd. recorded great results in all BLIK channels. BLIK mobile payment system is available to approximately 80% of the Polish banks’ clients.
In 2017, Poles made 33 million online and point of sale payments, withdrawals from ATMs and transfers to a telephone number via BLIK. It is almost four times more than in 2016.
Since the beginning of 2017, Poles have made 33 million BLIK transactions, including almost 22 million online payments. Increasing number of transactions is connected with the growing popularity of BLIK among mobile banking customers in Poland. Currently, BLIK is used by 6.1 million people - twice as many as at the end of 2016. The value of 2017 transactions exceeded PLN 4.5 billion.
- 2017 was a breakthrough for BLIK. A six-million, constantly growing group of BLIK users has made four times more transactions than in 2016. BLIK has become a common payment standard and it is available in an increasing number of stores and banks. In the coming period, we will continue to develop BLIK in the area of payments as well as transfers to a telephone number - says Dariusz Mazurkiewicz, CEO of the Polish Payment Standard, BLIK operator.

Polish Payment Standard Ltd. (PSP) is an operator of BLIK. The joint-venture was established in December 2013 by the six largest banks in Poland. The shareholders of PSP include: Alior Bank (PZU Group), Bank Millennium (Banco Comercial Portugues Group), Bank Zachodni WBK (Santander Group), ING Bank Śląski (ING Group), mBank (Commerzbank Group) and PKO Bank Polski (the biggest retail bank in Poland and middle and eastern Europe). BLIK can also be used by the clients of Getin Bank (Getin Noble), BGŻ BNP Paribas (BNP Paribas Group), Raiffeisen Polbank (Raiffeisen Bank International) and soon also Pekao SA (PZU Group) and Credit Agricole (Credit Agricole Group). Affiliated banks serve about twenty million customers - approximately 80% of the Polish market.
