London Stock Exchange welcomes FCO/DIT European fintech mission

The Foreign & Commonwealth Office and Department for International Trade are delighted to accompany 52 innovative, high growth fintech companies from Europe & Israel on a 2 day programme showcasing the UK’s unique financial sector and the dynamic ecosystem for entrepreneurs.

The delegates are from Austria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Belgium/Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal and Spain.

The mission delegates are delighted to have the opportunity to participate in the Market Opening Ceremony at such an emblematic institution. Delegates are here to gain firsthand experience of Britain’s financial services excellence, its world leading fintech sector, pro-innovation policy and regulatory environment and the trade and investment opportunities.

The EU firms and trade associations will meet with UK policy makers, regulators, fintech multipliers and fintech firms, who will showcase the UK fintech sector´s strengths and the business opportunities that are available.
