Maliyya is happy to announce that it has been selected to participate at the Cloud10 Scalerator Program of C5 Accelerate in Bahrain.
Maliyya was selected out of more than 80 startups applied, becoming one of six (6) selected startups of the program which can access AWS cloud services, high level mentors from the fintech and financial industry, representatives of the Economic Board of Bahrain and the Central Bank of Bahrain and a wide network of business leaders.
C5 Accelerate is a London, Washington D.C., and Bahrain based technology investment firm. C5 Accelerate is developing a Cloud Accelerator Cluster in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the United States. Its mission is to accelerate best-of-breed start-ups to meet the growth opportunity being created by the geographic expansion of AWS.
The eight-week structured program of mentorship is divided into a series of sprints and tutorials that cover all aspects of scaling up, with a focus on scaling using the cloud platform. To facilitate this, each participant company/organization receives up to $50k AWS credits. The program is supported by an extensive community of international mentors and, on completion of the program, companies/organizations will receive certification whereupon they will enter a peer network that will provide ongoing support and guidance going forward.
Maliyya believes that the Cloud10 Scalerator program enables it to establish itself in the dynamic financial marketplace of Bahrain and to have diversified geography along with the UAE. Throughout the program, Maliyya will have an opportunity to connect with potential customers, to get mentorship from industry experts, entrepreneurs, and corporate leaders, and involve in training sessions in strategy, software development and integration, and scaling up. The Cloud10 Scalerator will also enable Maliyya to showcase its business model to potential investors in Bahrain and to secure seed investment of more than USD 1.5 Million. The Cloud10 Scalerator program will conclude with a pitch day, where Maliyya will pitch the company to potential investors from C5, AWS, and their respective global investor network.
