Mobiamo partners with Orange in Poland to help entrepreneurs around the world accept mobile payments from over 14 million people using direct carrier billing.
The partnership allows companies to sell goods and services at price points up to 300 PLN.
Orange subscribers in Poland can now make online purchases directly charged to their mobile phone bill, letting them easily and conveniently shop with their phones. Payments are completed within one click, greatly improving conversions compared to regular card payments. Alternatively, customers can text the keyword to the shortcode number from the smartphone or receive an SMS with the confirmation code to complete a purchase.
Aside from Orange, Mobiamo already supports all major mobile network operators in Poland. This includes Play, T-Mobile, and Plus, covering nearly 100% of the mobile payments market in Poland.
