FactSet, a global provider of integrated financial information, analytical applications and industry-leading services, today announced that FactSet Digital Solutions has developed a new online broker offering for Banco Santander Totta in Portugal.

FactSet Digital Solutions provides digital investment solutions for retail banking, private banking, wealth management, online brokerage, advisory and the media based on flexible technology and comprehensive support and hosting for integrated digital services and applications. Santander Totta's broker portal comes with an embedded trading functionality, as well as a sophisticated portfolio application. The bank's new web presence offers a clear design with intuitive navigation, an innovative search, and is fully responsive for desktop and mobile devices.

Providing a broad range of global real-time market data and professional analysis tools, the offering is designed to add value to existing customers and also attract new user groups. Besides general market information and news, users have access to asset-class specific overviews, fact sheets and searches. Asset classes include stocks, ETFs, bonds, warrants, indices and FX. They can set up personal watch lists and alerting for price-related data and corporate actions, as well as visualize real portfolios not only with end of day status, but also intraday updates. The transaction workflow supports advanced trading features.

A thorough backend system integration allows the bank to import and synchronize real portfolios and other contributed contents, manage user profiles and carry out website analytics across all channels.

Santander Totta, the largest private bank in assets and credit in Portugal and one of the largest in terms of deposits, is part of Santander Group, a leading retail and commercial bank, headquartered in Spain. It has a meaningful market share in 10 core countries in Europe and the Americas and its objective is to provide a multi-channel online broker presence for its domestic market, serving both retail business and corporate clients.

"Our goal is to offer our clients an innovative value-added service encouraging them to carry out transactions via our financial portal," said Pedro Bastos, Head of Equities at Santander Totta.

"We are very pleased to collaborate with Santander Totta, which underscores our focus on providing our clients with innovative and flexible solutions designed to efficiently support their business," stated Tim Grünke, Senior Vice President Professional Services at FactSet Digital Solutions. "When planning and creating the multi-channel portal for web, mobile and tablet devices, we put a strong emphasis on tailoring the solution to meet the bank's user requirements."

Through customized and hosted web solutions used by several hundred global financial institutions, FactSet Digital Solutions delivers data in real-time to advisor desktops, institutional and retail web portals, a broad range of mobile and tablet solutions and powerful APIs. Decision-support tools and analytics, robo-algorithms, extensive charting and display capabilities, as well as sophisticated search functions and advisory tools help facilitate the investment and advisory process.
