Cordium, the market-leading provider of governance, risk and compliance services, is enhancing its comprehensive MIFID II compliance offering for investment firms with the launch of its MIFID II Infrastructure Collateral Service.
The service provides compliance teams with a complete set of policies, procedures, manuals and related documentation required for adherence to MiFID II, well ahead of the January 2018 deadline. Cordium has designed this collateral specifically to fit the structure and business needs of different investment firms, enabling them to update their compliance documentation with greater ease. The service eliminates the arduous task of creating the complete set of required documentation in-house.
The service and its materials were developed utilizing Cordium’s deep expertise in Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) supervision, EU directives, regulatory change management, and compliance programs. All essential MiFID II areas are addressed in detail including trade reporting, transaction reporting, best execution and dealing commissions.
Jon Wilson, Project Director at Cordium, said: “Updating policies and procedures is an essential, yet sometimes underappreciated, aspect of MiFID II compliance. From our extensive experience, we know regulators expect the same rigor in documentation as they will in the implementation process themselves. This service will save investment firms significant time and energy by providing them with resources they can trust to be accurate, impactful and backed by expertise.”
The Infrastructure Collateral Service is the latest addition to Cordium’s extensive MiFID II offering. Cordium has already worked with numerous investment firms to identify requirements, develop and oversee implementation plans, and provide guidance on the processes and resources needed to ensure compliance. Along with impact and gap analyses and MiFID Delivery Assistance Service (MIDAS), the new service expands Cordium’s commitment to providing expert, comprehensive MiFID II support where and when clients need it.
