Metavante Corporation, the financial technology subsidiary of Marshall & Ilsley Corporation (NYSE:MI), today announced the launch of a new wealth management customer relationship management (CRM) tool, WealthRM, through a unique licensing agreement with ClienTracs, Inc.

Based in Atlanta, ClienTracs is a leading provider of wealth management CRM technology for financial institutions.

WealthRM, powered by ClienTracs, assists financial advisors with sales prospecting, cross-selling, referral tracking, and relationship management. It allows them to more effectively capture and analyze specific financial information from their high net worth clients and make recommendations regarding estate planning, investment management, insurance, cash and credit management. This agreement provides Metavante with exclusive rights to sell and market WealthRM to the wealth management industry, including clients using Metavante's TrustDesk platform and to clients using other platforms.

"Having the ability to offer this product independently opens up new opportunities for Metavante to broaden our market reach, facilitate a consultative approach to client management, and continue to build a comprehensive wealth management platform," said Doug Smith, senior vice president and general manager, Metavante Investment Technology Services. "WealthRM provides financial advisors with the tools to capture, analyze and recommend specific solutions expected by their clients, enabling advisors to provide comprehensive advice about a client's entire profile."

WealthRM begins by evaluating individual clients based on a set of questions about their specific goals, objectives and financial preferences. Next, WealthRM identifies sales opportunities through a firm-specific, customized cross-sell matrix, which are forwarded to pre-assigned product specialists. The service includes account aggregation technology, online product brochures and other tools to educate advisors on specific products or solutions to prepare them for client meetings. Additional capabilities, such as follow-up alerts, activity tracking, and a variety of reports, help both the individual advisor and management drive business through effective client management.

"Delivering quality tools to the wealth management market is our primary focus and working closely with valuable partners like Metavante will help maintain our leadership position in this arena," said Jeff Jenkins, president, ClientTracs, Inc. "Metavante has devoted itself to helping investment management and trust company clients operate more efficiently and bringing WealthRM to the market will position their clients to gain a greater share of the rapidly growing wealth management marketplace."
