PayPal is focused on delivering seamless commerce experiences across a range of contexts.

This includes new mobile environments, including gaming consoles. Today, we continue the journey to bring PayPal to more customers across contexts by integrating with the Nintendo Switch™ console- enabling gamers to use PayPal to make purchases from Nintendo eShop.

Consumers around the world can use PayPal to make purchases with their Nintendo eShop accounts directly from their Nintendo Switch. Additionally, consumers can use PayPal on the official Nintendo website to fund balances, and to purchase software downloads on Nintendo 3DS™, Wii U™and Nintendo Switch.

Gamers around the world can use PayPal, starting with Japan, United States and Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.

This collaboration with Nintendo is yet another example of our partner-based approach. Nintendo is the newest of our collaborations with leading technology companies to expand the reach of our products, explore new contexts, increase conversions for our merchants, and give our consumers the flexibility, security and speed that digital payments can offer.
