We’ve launched personal Euro accounts! You can now receive payments from anyone, anywhere, including a salary.
Opening a bank account is a pain. There are a bunch of hurdles to jump through including credit checks, providing a proof of address and trips to a bank branch with your ID.
Our new feature enables all Revolut customers, across 42 European countries, to open a free Euro account straight from their smartphone. Whether you’re in the UK, Switzerland or Germany - you can open a personal Euro account in 60 seconds.
You get your own personal IBAN which you can use to get paid by anyone, anywhere, including a salary. When you send outbound transfers via Revolut, your name will appear as the sender on the beneficiary’s bank statement.
How to activate your EUR account
