Planet Payment, Inc. (PLPM), a leading provider of international and multi-currency transaction services, and Worldpay US, a global leader in payments processing technology and solutions, will launch Planet Payment’s Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) at ATMs solution across 70,000 Worldpay ATMs in the United States.
DCC at ATMs enables international travelers to the U.S. to withdraw local currency from an ATM while seeing the amount debited from their account in their own currency. International cardholders using Worldpay US ATMs will now have the ability to instantly view, select and better understand the conversion to their home currency of the US dollar amount dispensed at participating ATMs.

For ATM owners and operators, DCC at ATMs can mean big business. According to the U.S. Department of Commerce, international travelers to the U.S. are expected to grow 2.4 percent in 2017 to a new volume record of 78.6 million visitors. By 2021, annual visitor volume is expected to grow to 94.1 million.
