Isbank offers Social Account for P2P mobile payments
Making its customers’ lives easier with digital banking innovations, İşbank has launched a new P2P money transfer service, called as “Social Account”, which is available for the first time in Turkey.

İşbank offers its mobile banking app users a new feature called “Social Account” which simplifies money transfers for all kinds of special occasions.
“Social Account” enables İşCep users to request money transfers to their designated accounts for occasions such as dinners, birthday parties, weddings from their families and friends and can respond quickly to organization requests relayed to them.
With “Social Account” feature, İşCep users can add contacts from their contact lists to “the Social Account Directory” that is special for this feature and invite them to contribute their organisations and they can also monitor the turnout of the organizations. Invitations can be sent up to 50 people per organization through SMS or push notification.
While creating an organization via Social Account, a target date or a target amount should be selected.
How to use İşCep Social Account?
Social Account feature can be used by İşCep users who have smart phones with iOS or Android operating systems. Before using Social Account, İşCep users are prompted once to verify the user agreement linked to the feature, as well as to specify the accounts where funds to be collected or sent for the events.
The user can specify names, amounts and dates for their organizations. After participants are added, the user can form its organizations by adding their short information, photo and “thanks message” selections. The user can easily track how many people are linked to the events at any time as well as the amount of funds collected.
İşbank customers can also send invitations to non-İşbank customers via SMS and the non-İşbank customers can contribute the organization by sending funds to “Social Account” via EFT. İşCep app supports English and İşCep Social Account is also available for all foreign customers in Turkey.
“Social Account” feature was launched on İşCep iOS app on December 2015 and integrated on İşCep Android app on November 2016. As of December 2016, total number of Social Account users has reached over 45,000 and more than 4,000 organizations were set via this feature.
