Capital One® Spark Business® today announced two new partnerships to build and deliver better financial management, HR and cash flow tools designed for small businesses.

The leading small business bank is joining forces with Bill.com and Gusto in an effort to transform and simplify the way businesses access and manage their cash flow, seamlessly integrate HR into business processes, and expand Spark Business' growing suite of financial products, tools and experiences designed to empower small businesses.

"Managing all the aspects of cash flow and HR-related processes are top challenges we hear about from our small business customers, and we're thrilled to work with Bill.com and Gusto to design and deliver solutions that make financial management easier for business owners, so they can focus on what they love," said Greg McAllister, VP of Product and Business Development at Capital One. "Our goal is to partner with financial technology companies that share our passion for building well-designed solutions that fuel small business growth. We believe banking and fin-tech have an opportunity to come together to create the most innovative and useful solutions for small businesses."

Bill.com® is the leading business payments company helping top banks and accounting firms cement longer, richer relationships with small and medium business customers. Innovative Bill.com payments solutions scale with the needs of businesses as they grow, simplifying and automating end-to-end bill pay and invoicing processes with electronic documents, approval workflows, network-based collaboration, and complete synchronization with leading accounting systems.

"As digital technology continues to shape the future of banking and finance, we are honored to partner with forward-thinking banks like Capital One to create innovative and delightful new customer experiences that strengthen the bond between banks and their small and medium business customers," said René Lacerte, CEO and founder of Bill.com. "As more businesses look to bank online, Bill.com is giving them the digital tools they need to effectively receive and manage business payments and improve the bill pay experience."

Gusto, an all-in-one platform for HR, payroll, and benefits, utilizes technology to create an integrated payroll and benefits experience for business owners. Gusto provides efficiency and simplicity to an industry that's currently inundated with paperwork, manual data entry, and the potential for errors.

"More and more small businesses want their most important systems to work with each other seamlessly, whether it's banking and bill payments or payroll and benefits," said Josh Reeves, CEO and co-founder of Gusto. "We're excited to integrate with Spark Business' ecosystem to make life easier for business owners and streamline their HR, payroll, and benefits processes."

Spark Business' collaboration with Bill.com and Gusto is part of a long-term plan to build a broad ecosystem of financial technology partners, enabling seamless yet secure transmission of financial data and activity - ultimately delivering a smoother, faster, more connected and comprehensive view of a business' cash flow and projected financial conditions.
