PAX to debut Android tablet terminal

PAX Technology (HKEx:00327 - PAX GLOBAL), a global leader in the provision of secure electronic payment terminal solutions, will unveil the A920 Mobile Tablet, a leading Android smart terminal, for the first time at TRUSTECH 2016 on November 29 in Cannes, France.

PAX's A920 is the world's first Android tablet mobile terminal with full payment industry certifications. The A920 is stylishly designed and comes with a 5-inch high-resolution color touch screen, dual cameras, an underside-positioned fast thermal printer, advanced connectivity options, built-in NFC, Global Positioning System (GPS) technology and electronic signature capture functionality. State-of-the-art processors and large memory capacity enable exceptionally fast processing of software applications.

Mr. Andrew Wu, Vice President of PAX, said: "Mobile commerce is increasingly moving toward a service combining tablet applications with payment. The multifunctional A920 will reshape traditional payment markets by integrating high-level customization tailored to meet different merchants' demands in various industries."

PAX will also be showcasing other new products at the tradeshow, including the new countertop indoor portable Q80 model, the paperless D220 MiniPOS, the SP20 V4 PINpad and a new docking station for the PX multimedia range of terminals.
