BTPN Bank recently launched the Jenius Mobius Hub in Jakarta, Indonesia – designed by allen international.

Jenius is a mobile banking channel created to deliver to the needs of the ever changing consumer who need convenience on the move.

“Our research shows that digitally savvy people want a banking experience that is simple, smart and safe, whereby everything can be done via a smartphone. As a bank which has a vision of making a difference in the lives of millions of people throughout Indonesia, BTPN has answered these demands through Jenius,” said President Director of BTPN, Jerry Ng.

So why a physical manifestation of the digital Jenius App?

The ‘Mobius Hub’ is a natural physical extension of the Jenius App - a ‘pop-up’ concept which behaves as a tactical marketing tool for acquisition, awareness, education, and sector disruption.

A digital banking channel which enables customers to open and manage their bank accounts remotely via smartphones and tablets.

Being instantly recognisable from it’s new sub-brand and bespoke design features - the ‘Mobius hub’ deriving from the Mobius strip of the Jenius brand mark - this temporary structure can be dropped into any environment and moved around the country to promote the Jenius digital proposition.
There will also be two permanent locations within shopping malls

The Jenius Mobius Hub delivers everything you need to learn about the Jenius app, open and manage your bank account and includes instant card delivery. It is the first intelligent ‘digital hub’ in Indonesia that really addresses the needs of digital savvy customers.

“We are very excited about our involvement with Jenius, as it underlines our core business of digital and physical design for banks and the omni-channel customer experience,” said Founder & Group CEO of allen international, Michael Allen.
