Misys, a global financial software company, has selected Interact, an intelligent cloud based intranet platform, to better connect its global workforce and unlock hidden knowledge stored within the organisation.
By implementing Interact, the firm hopes that content will be more readily accessible and engagement with content will increase, improving employees’ effectiveness in their duties and their commitment to the business culture.
Nicola Hamilton, Senior Director, Communications at Misys, commented: “After extensive research, we concluded that Interact was the most suitable Cloud intranet platform for global collaboration. We wanted to give our employees a centralised hub to access up-to-date news and content so that we can better facilitate effective cross-regional team communication and engagement. The like, share and comment functionalities in the intranet support this goal and are already seeing encouraging take up.”
The financial technology provider launched its intranet to 5,000 global users in July 2016. The integration capabilities of Interact mean that Misys can upgrade its previous intranet into one easy to use, centralised Cloud solution that enables workers from around the world to be able to quickly access relevant content and collaborate across regions.
“Misys recognised that it needed an intranet that was in keeping with its Cloud first policy and that makes it easier for staff to share knowledge and engage, whilst reducing the time taken to access vital information,” said Nigel Danson, Interact CEO. “Whilst many solutions can deliver on some level, there are few that offer intelligent functionality that learns the preferences of the user, whilst being an integrated and centralised platform that is scalable across regions. The fact that Misys has recognised this and has selected Interact as its collaboration platform is testament to how compelling Interact’s offering is in the enterprise market.”
Misys is one of many in the financial services sector globally that uses Interact’s intelligent intranet software. Financial services institutions such as Santander, Yorkshire Building Society, East Boston Savings Bank, Provident Credit Union and AFX Capital Markets all use Interact to help power internal communications, worker engagement and collaboration.
