It appears BoB is putting a huge focus on tapping the unorganised Credit sector. This huge potential for any early mover, at this moment serviced only by a handful of marketplace lenders. This trend is catching up worldwide including largest US banks are shifting focus on Micro Credit / MSME credit sectors. Use of cutting edge Tech will be critical and heartening to see BoBs tie ups with Fintechs on that front. Best of Luck!!

Brilliant collabrative move from BoB.

Ofcourse, there are many such initiatives started by Private bank such as YES Bank as well as PSU Giant SBI tie up with Reliance Jio for FinTech and Payments Bank tie up are collabrative actions started.

Globally such actions need to be noticed as traditional banks need not poise threat from FinTech but rather collabrate to bring more innovative products and services for society.
