Misys, the global financial software company, has opened a new office in Texas, as a result of its rapid growth.

Since acquiring Custom Credit Systems (CCS) in 2014 the firm has tripled its employee base in the region in the last two years, and has relocated from Richardson to larger premises in Plano. The move enables Misys to benefit from local talent and business resources.

“Plano has seen an influx of big business names in recent years and offers a wealth of talent, so it is a natural base for us,” said Nadeem Syed, CEO at Misys. The need to move to a new office to accommodate our growing workforce really highlights the pace at which we are expanding our business and cements our position as a leading and innovative financial software provider. Investing in our new Texas base demonstrates our commitment to the region and our lending market solutions.”

Misys joins a number of global companies in Plano, including JP Morgan Chase and Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. The new office is one of the company’s strategic global development centers and houses the Misys center of excellence for its commercial lending solutions.

Harry LaRosiliere, Mayor of Plano said: “It is excellent to have a global company of Misys’ stature recognize the potential of our region and the many opportunities in our business community. As a vibrant work center and a welcoming city, we have been eagerly awaiting their arrival. We look forward to the many employment opportunities Misys will bring to the region and we will work as partners to help them flourish.”

Misys is a leader in commercial lending software. Misys FusionBanking Lending delivers a comprehensive solution, with broad asset class coverage. It provides the full lending workflow from origination in the front office, to loan management and accounting in the back office.

The Plano office forms part of the company’s North American operations alongside offices in New York.
