The first one of the season was the first Bucharest Gourmet gastro festival. Festipay entered the Romanian market in 2015 by working with Untold Festival in Cluj.

Along with the most popular Hungarian festivals (Sziget, EFOTT, Volt, Balaton Sound), Festipay provides cashless payment services to more and more European events. In 2015, Festipay introduced itself at the biggest festival in Romania, a festival that was voted “Best Major Festival in Europe”, Untold. This year, another four Romanian festivals decided to work with Festipay - the company provides cashless payment solutions on five different festivals this year in the country, first at the Bucharest Gourmet between June 3rd and 5th.

After a successful collaboration, the organizers of Bucharest Gourmet decided to continue working with Festipay. This decision means the Hungarian company will play an active role in the developments of the up-and-coming Romanian gastro festival market.
