JCB signs pre-paid licensing deal with Citrip for overseas travellers
JCB International Co., Ltd. (JCBI), international operations subsidiary of JCB Co., Ltd., today announced that it signed a license agreement for issuing prepaid cards for abroad (electronic travel checks*) with Ctrip Financial Service (Hong Kong) Limited (Ctrip), a subsidiary company owned by Ctrip.com International Ltd., which is the first online travel agency in China.

Ctrip operates websites and apps and provides online reservation services mainly in China for travel related products such as hotel, airline tickets and railway in more than 200 countries around the world. The prepaid card can be used by loading foreign currencies before travelling abroad, and can be reloadable. It can be used at all of the JCB worldwide acceptance locations, and the product will provide speedy, convenient and safe payment experience for the over 120 million Chinese who travel abroad each year for the purpose of leisure, business and studying.
