Niu Solutions, the leading provider of IT consultancy and infrastructure services, today announced that it has been certified to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).
Niu Solutions was certified after the company completed and passed a rigorous process, which affirms Niu Solutions’ dedication to customer security and compliance.
The certification supports Niu Solutions’ clients own requirements for PCI compliance by providing a certified platform, removing the stress of customers securing their own network and comes ahead of the introduction of the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation in 2017, which will penalise companies up to 5% of their global turnover for a security breach. By working with Niu Solutions, companies are able to make significant time savings and reduce the risk of being found non-compliant to various regulatory requirements.
Niu Solutions’ approval is another nod to its consistent delivery of regulatory compliant infrastructure services and follows the company becoming an active member of the PCI Community in 2015.
Launched in 2006, with a focus on improving payment account security through the transaction process, PCI DSS is a set of requirements designed to ensure that all companies that transmit, store or process credit card information maintain a secure environment. The PCI DSS helps facilitate the broad adoption of consistent data security practices and allows businesses and consumers alike to feel confident that their credit card details are being handled and stored securely.
Shaun Ledgerwood, CEO, Niu Solutions UK said: “We are thrilled to have been recognised by the PCI Security Standards Council for our commitment to security. At Niu Solutions, we constantly strive to create and apply innovative solutions while maintaining the highest level of operational standards. This certification is testament to our strict adherence to security standards and our extensive capabilities in developing world-class IT solutions on a global scale.
“Our clients require flexible and secure platforms that support the constantly evolving mobile payments landscape, as well as a stringent need to protect data privacy. Through our hybrid cloud solutions, we are able to provide clients with a cost-effective, robust and highly-assured cloud infrastructure solutions, ensuring businesses can grow at pace and limit any disruption to the customer experience.”
