Payments UK, the trade association for the payments industry, has today announced that The Access Bank UK has signed up to become a full member.

Since the launch of Payments UK last year, 11 new members have signed up to join, with more in the pipeline. The trade association now has 42 full members and 27 associate members, representing a wide spectrum of payment service providers from across the industry.

Payments UK brings members and wider stakeholders together to make the UK’s payment services better for customers and to ensure UK payment services remain world-class. As well as offering representation, membership of Payments UK helps payment providers navigate through the steady stream of new regulation and standards, changing customer requirements and emerging technology.

Maurice Cleaves, Chief Executive of Payments UK, said:

“We are delighted that The Access Bank UK has chosen to join Payments UK. It is a very exciting time for both new and existing players in the payments industry and our growing membership is testament to the support and value we provide. Payments UK sits at the centre of the payments landscape and we are uniquely placed to bring the payments community together to discuss and manage change.”
