With the Circular for Depositary Banks of 08/2015 (WA), the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) once more defined the tasks and duties of depositaries according to Chapter 1, Section 3 of the German capital investment code (KaGB). In view of its strategic direction, each depositary has to decide whether they prefer evaluation model 1 – with access to the technical systems of the capital administration companies, or model 2 with its own shadow accounting system (or a combination model). The private bank Donner & Reuschel, in this regard, has decided on implementing the depositary model 2 and choosing Diamos as their software partner.

The components of Diamos’ depositary solution include the fund accounting system Diamos-F and the modules on investment compliance, as well as for reconciliation.
