First introduced in 2012, NCR Interactive Tellers offer financial institution customers a more personal banking experience, with the benefits of both self-service video banking and the branch experience in one unified solution.

Today, Vidyo, Inc. and NCR announced a global OEM agreement to bring Vidyo¹s high quality video communication technology to NCR¹s Interactive Teller and other omni-channel video solutions worldwide. This strategic agreement allows NCR to integrate Vidyo¹s secure, scalable video communications technology directly into NCR¹s product lines, giving customers and service agents a personal, efficient way to interact face-to-face.

NCR¹s Interactive Teller will leverage the Vidyo¹s technology to embed video banking capabilities within the system, giving customers the choice of self-service or connecting with a remote teller in a highly personalized, secure, audio/video interaction. Interactive Teller migrates routine transactions away from the teller counter, resulting in lower processing costs, faster transactions and increased product sales and revenue growth while maintaining a personal touch to banking.

³NCR is the market leader in omni-channel banking experiences. We pioneered the interactive banking technology market and our customers want a secure and dynamic experience,² said Jed Taylor, Vice President and General Manager, Community Bank Software & Global Video Services, NCR. ³Vidyo delivers unmatched video quality and security and is our preferred partner to video-enable our NCR Interactive Teller and our future omni-channel video offerings.²

³Vidyo is pleased to have been selected as NCR¹s preferred partner to integrate our technology into NCR Interactive Teller and across their channels,² said Eran Westman. ³Quality matters in video banking, as in other video-enabled B2C applications, to enhance customer engagement and we look forward to this partnership supporting NCR¹s future offerings.²

Vidyo¹s platform and APIs enable enterprises, developers and solutions providers across a wide variety of markets and applications to deploy cloud-based, including hybrid, and on-premises solutions that address increasing demands to integrate visual communications into productivity solutions, workflows and business processes. Vidyo¹s Hosted VidyoConferencing offering provides teams of any size the tools to deploy simple, optimized, cloud-based video collaboration with a rich feature set. Vidyo¹s upcoming PaaS offering will give developers a simplified way to embed secure, scalable, high-quality multiparty video and collaboration into any workflow, application, endpoint or IoT form factor.
