Redi Global Technologies today announced it has partnered with OpenFin, provider of the industry's leading HTML5 container technology.
Through the relationship, REDI and its partners will leverage OpenFin's technology to deploy new web-based applications within the next-generation trade management platform. As a result, users will be able to access native REDI and third-party content in a much more flexible and efficient manner.
"OpenFin is fundamentally changing the way applications are written, deployed and run within the financial community," said REDI CTO Mark Etherington. "Ten years ago, the idea that you could natively integrate web-based applications from multiple providers within a legacy environment in a way that is completely transparent to the user was unthinkable, and yet that's exactly what OpenFin is allowing us to do."
Mazy Dar, CEO of OpenFin, added: "The work REDI has done to re-architect its platform in such an open and collaborative manner is extremely impressive, and we are glad to have played a small part. By leveraging our technology, third-parties will be able to easily and efficiently deploy their applications within the REDI front end, providing REDI's users with a wider array of content options than ever before."
