MBNA and CUETS Financial are the third and fourth major credit card portfolios to commit to join the UGO Wallet. This expansion will follow the launch of UGO's Host Card Emulation (HCE) solution, which will enable UGO to extend secure mobile payments to more customers on more devices.

"Through this strategic alliance with UGO, MBNA and CUETS Financial can offer customers and Credit Union members a digital wallet solution that provides the convenience they need coupled with the security they expect," said Megan Jones, VP Credit Cards from MBNA and CUETS Financial. MBNA and CUETS Financial customers will have access to UGO Wallet's simple, fast and secure method of making purchases as well as its reward and loyalty card capabilities. UGO Wallet is Canada's first open digital wallet to combine multiple payment and loyalty programs, while also offering customers the ability to store, redeem and electronically receive gift cards, in one secure and convenient mobile solution.

The addition of MBNA & CUETS Financial, will give UGO the largest portfolio of credit cards that can be accessed in a single mobile payment app in Canada.

"UGO Wallet continues to push forward as Canada's leading open digital wallet solution," said Alec Morley, CEO of UGO. "This announcement reaffirms our commitment to include new issuers to the wallet, while introducing new capabilities that fit the needs of our customers."

MBNA & CUETS Financial MasterCard® credit cards products will be able to be loaded on UGO Wallet on participating NFC-enabled AndroidTM or BlackBerry 10 smartphones.
