ANALEC will be replacing existing vendors in both areas of the business and providing a seamlessly integrated technology solution linking investment research delivery and tracking with the broader client management requirements of the business.

Moelis undertook a detailed review of its requirements and based on that review selected ANALEC to meet their needs going forward. Moelis under the working relationship with ANALEC will achieve significant efficiency in the research generation and distribution process as well as be able to leverage a range of tools to service their clients better and improve transparency and accountability in the overall client service process.

Commenting on the transaction, ANALEC’s CEO, Indy Sarker stated “We at ANALEC will work closely with Moelis as they implement and optimise our systems within their Equities business. We are the only technology solution provider in the market that provides a truly seamless experience when it comes to meeting broker-dealers’ research automation needs as well as their sales & trading CRM requirements. Our ResearchWise and ClientManager product suites seamlessly integrate to provide significant client servicing benefits to Moelis. We are delighted to have Moelis as a customer and excited to work with them going forward.”

Within the Moelis research organisation, ANALEC’s ResearchWise suite will help to create: (a) a central repository of all analyst’s estimates and forecasts across companies under coverage; (b) flexibility and efficiency around the report creation and publishing process; (c) ensure workflow discipline and fulfilment of regulatory compliance norms; (d) distribution of research to individual clients and third-party portals; and (e) track readership intelligence and drive analytics around client’s use of the research product. Additionally, this will also deliver a research portal to Moelis that can be accessed by its clients at all times.

The sales & trading business along with client-facing research analysts will leverage ANALEC’s CRM platform for broker-dealers - ClientManager suite - to enhance their customer service experience and better prioritize their clients to boost revenue generation opportunities. Moelis will use ANALEC’s CRM platform to better manage their client subscription requirements, ensure all client call lists are centrally managed and linked to account management initiatives, and ensure Roadshows are created and managed on the same platform.

Changes in the institutional stock broking space are forcing players to relook at their product offering and focus on technology driven efficiencies to improve the quality of their client engagement. ANALEC’s range of capabilities in this space works to make broker-dealers future-ready when it comes to the evolving competitive landscape and win greater mindshare and build longer lasting and profitable customer relationship.
