Tora, the leading provider of advanced technology and financial services, today announced the launch of Tora Compass Order and Execution Management System (OEMS) version 10.
The combination of an order management system and execution management system addresses an important problem facing the buy-side, that of dealing with multiple systems and complex technology integrations. TORA’s new release allows managers to have best of breed without the overhead.
TORA's new OEMS integrates the critical order management features that fund managers need, with the speed, reliability and ease of use of TORA’s award-winning execution management system. In addition, TORA is an open platform, and integrates with any third-party system provider, allowing fund managers to seamlessly transition to TORA’s OEMS.
The latest version of TORA’s award-winning OEMS includes a redesigned user interface, a custom strategy trading tool, the addition of powerful new compliance functionality, new eLocate integrations and workflows, and dozens of other major new features and enhancements, including:
- Portfolio-based order creation to allow fast rebalancing
- Post-trade compliance engine, including advanced custom portfolio filtering and aggregation capability
- Enhanced electronic borrow functionality integrated with compliance
- New charting features including real-time graphical display of liquidity indicators, such as the average price of fills on each execution venue
- Strategy Trader allows fast implementation of custom trading strategies
- New unified order input screen
TORA’s new release helps clients to manage the fast pace of changes through a compliance rule building tool where authorized users can set up new rules within seconds. Expanding on the previously offered robust library of pre-trade compliance checks in the TORA OEMS, the addition of a post-trade compliance engine gives clients a complete set of tools to effectively manage regulatory, investor and internal fund requirements.
As markets become increasingly competitive, another challenge funds face is implementing trading strategies through their technology platform. TORA’s new release includes a custom strategy trading tool that enables clients to quickly define new automated trading strategies based on a variety of triggers and order-actions.
“The TORA OEMS Version 10 release demonstrates TORA’s approach to innovative product development, which is to focus on client workflows while leveraging our advanced cloud-based infrastructure and cross-product integrations,” said Robert Dykes, CEO of TORA. “Whether that is in our EMS, OMS, compliance, portfolio management or risk systems, we continue to evolve and invest in our products to ensure that they are the best-in-class platform for fund managers.”
