TCF National Bank (TCF Bank), a subsidiary of TCF Financial Corporation (TCF) (NYSE: TCB), is partnering with Cardtronics, Inc. (NASDAQ: CATM), the world's largest retail ATM owner / operator, to expand their ATM footprint through a branding relationship that will provide broader market reach as well as surcharge-free ATM access to TCF customers at approximately 200 Target stores in Minnesota and Michigan, as well as Chicago and its surrounding communities.
TCF National Bank is based in Wayzata, Minnesota.
By adding these Target stores in Minnesota, Michigan and Chicagoland, TCF expands a Cardtronics ATM branding relationship established in 2013, featuring select Chicago Transit Authority stations and Jewel-Osco supermarkets. In total, TCF will soon brand approximately 300 Cardtronics-owned and -operated ATMs, expanding surcharge-free ATM access for its customers at convenient retail and commuter transit locations. Commencing immediately, Cardtronics will begin outfitting its ATMs in the aforementioned Target stores with TCF branding, with project completion expected later this year. All TCF-branded ATMs can be found using the Branch & ATM locator available at the bank’s website.
Mark Jeter, managing director, Retail Banking for TCF said: “Providing TCF-branded Cardtronics ATMs and delivering surcharge-free cash access at select Target, CTA and Jewel-Osco locations throughout Chicagoland further reinforces our commitment to be in rhythm with the needs of our customers, ensuring they have convenient access to their money.”
David Dove, president, North America Business Group, Cardtronics said: “TCF and Target are very important partners for Cardtronics, and we are proud to bring them together in a business relationship that will benefit everyone, including their respective customers.”
