First Investment Bank moves to in-house acquiring with Tieto

Tieto and First Investment Bank, one of the major banks in Bulgaria, have replaced the existing acquiring system with Tieto Card Suite solution.

Now the bank will be able to offer its clients a full range of acquiring services. The replacement of the existing system with a new one will allow First Investment Bank to minimize its daily processing costs and facilitate launch of new services later on, as the bank continually improves its in-house infrastructure.

Tieto and First Investment Bank, one of the major banks in Bulgaria, have replaced the existing acquiring system with Tieto Card Suite solution. Now the bank will be able to offer its clients a full range of acquiring services.

Within this project, we have successfully migrated large volumes of data without any impact on system performance, thus totally undetected by bank customers. First Investment Bank has chosen Tieto in view of our long-term and fruitful cooperation, and their confidence in Card Suite technical and competitive capabilities, says Māris Ozoliņš, Director of Cards at Tieto.
