By extending its partnership with Worldline, comdirect ensures its ever-expanding portfolio continues to meet the highest security and compliance standards, while also guaranteeing security over investments at a market cost-effective level for the bank.

The renewed processing contract between Worldline and comdirect covers technical processing as well as manual services - such as Card Stop and chargeback services.

In addition to continuing these services, the contract will also cover introduction of innovative, future-oriented solutions for comdirect bank’s customers, such as contactless payments services. comdirect customers already benefit from an SMS alert service that immediately notifies them in case of suspect sales inquiries, thereby providing increased control over payment transactions. Additionally, comdirect customers can select and change their PIN code at any time with the ‘Self-Selected PIN’ service.

Wolf Kunisch, Worldline Managing Director for Financial Processing & Software Licensing, and responsible for Worldline Germany & CEE, commented:"comdirect’s decision to renew the contract testifies to our fruitful teamwork over many years. Our in-depth expertise in card processing has been tried and tested on numerous occasions and comdirect people know they can count on our quality and innovation over the next seven years, as they have done in the past."

Kirsten Albers, comdirect Director of Banking, added: "In Worldline, we found a reliable and innovative partner who has backed us over many years, and we continue to place our faith in Worldline for the future."
