The last five years have seen significant inflows into Emerging Markets as global investors continued to diversify their portfolios. Closir aims to capitalise on this opportunity and help investors discover and engage with listed companies, especially those in segments of the markets less covered by brokers and financial advisers.

Since its inception in 2014, Closir has been working with over 120 listed companies and institutional investors to develop, refine and test the service in preparation for launch later in the year.

Michael Chojnacki, CEO of Closir, commented: “We are extremely excited to launch the beta of our product. Having spent the last 6 months working closely with a number of partners to develop the product, we are more confident than ever that technology has a huge role to play in the investment industry and are proud to pass this important milestone.”

Closir is partnering with EQS Group as well as a number of other strategic advisors in its key markets to increase the distribution of the service to both corporate and investor users. The company also recently announced that it had received investment from New York-based venture development firm ValueStream Labs (VSL). VSL’s Development Lab program will see the platform rolled out to fund managers, hedge funds and brokers in the US.
