Worldline provides an end-to-end processing service for Commerzbank that includes complete processing of all the bank's Visa Cards and MasterCards. The service provided covers Commerzbank credit cards as well as co-branded cards that are issued together with partners. In addition to technical processing, the contract also provides customer services.

Julian Mattes, Commerzbank Director of Payments and Deposits, said: "We continue to put our faith in Worldline because the firm can provide us a reliable, highly secure and cost-effective service. Under our long-term alliance we can join forces and roll out high-tech offers. We are looking forward to pursuing our fruitful partnership."

Wolf Kunisch, Worldline Managing Director for Financial Processing & Software Licensing and responsible for Worldline Germany & CEE, commented: "Commerzbank and Worldline have very successfully joined forces for many years based on a true partnership. This has underpinned our capacity to carry out major system migrations and changes together, including a large project in 2009 to combine the Commerzbank and Dresdner Bank portfolios. Extending the contract is testament to how our services meet latest security, quality and regulatory standards."
