With ORB, CUA will deliver a modern, unified platform across all devices and functional offerings, including retail, business, mobile, bill pay, personal finance management (PFM), Person-to-Person payments, marketing and more. With a customizable feature set, a rich development kit, and the ability to produce custom apps and services, credit unions like CUA can create unique branding opportunities and deliver highly relevant user experiences.

“Our previous system had fallen behind the times. It wasn’t user friendly and it lacked the features and functionality needed to deliver our members an exceptional experience,” said Richard Logan, senior vice president and chief information officer of CUA. “With Alkami’s ORB, we’re transforming that experience to better achieve our strategic goals as well as position ourselves more competitively.”

Logan continued, “By far, the biggest reason for selecting Alkami over other vendors was the platform’s ease of use and superiority. ORB is clean and simple, providing our members with a modern, high-tech experience. We were also impressed with its real-time, targeted marketing capabilities. This is huge for us.”

The credit union will be able to seamlessly promote relevant services to its members by leveraging ORB’s integrated intelligent content delivery system. The digital banking platform delivers dynamic, real-time, one-to-one product marketing and cross sell, enabling CUA to effectively promote products and services that are tailored, relevant and timely as well as grow and market to prospective members beyond its current geographical reach.

“To remain relevant and competitive, credit unions like Credit Union of America are turning to modern digital banking technology to better meet their members’ expectations,” said Stephen Bohanon, founder, chief strategy and sales officer of Alkami Technology. “This is critical as an overwhelming majority of members (86 percent) are also bank customers, according to CUNA’s 2014 National Member and Nonmember Survey. Superior digital banking can provide credit unions like CUA with an edge over big banks, and we look forward to helping them with their transition towards a highly competitive digital banking offering.”
